I had long hair,in High school, and joined the U S Navy, in 1974.In the 80's, I went to cosmetology school on my VA bill .I learned to cut hair, and started my on salon, and let my hair grow out. I had a mullet," Yes ," even before ,Billy Ray Cyrus ! I grew the back, down below my shoulder's ( I have natural curl,or it would look longer) keeping the sides and top short made it easy to fix. I would DJ on weekends ,so the hair went with both jobs ,"Business in the front,Party in the back!" I am nearing, age 70, so I feel very lucky, to have my natural hair and teeth. I do some songwriting, and still dream, of writing a hit song.I found out about your contest,on "The Today show,"when my wife of 45 years, was in the hospital with Leukemia .I didn't cut my hair,or shave my beard ,through the 7 months she was in the hospital, nor the over a year, she went through chemo treatments 7 days a week. So,by then, both were almost to my waist! I had forgotten, about the contest, and cut it all off, before I had thought about it,and had to let my hair grow back, from a shorter cut in the back. So now ,I am back to being "The Mullet Man!"
