Tyler Mortier – Father Mullet

Fond du Lac, WI.

In early 2012, I originally cut a short mullet to irritate my boss at Jimmy John’s, he didn’t even notice. I kept the haircut through the spring as I was playing rugby in the summer, where I was known as the Mulletier to my teammates. As I played, the business section stayed cool while the party section flowed through the wind as I sprinted along the sidelines, winking to spectators as I was on my way to score… again.

In 2015, the nickname Father Mullet was given to me by a friend from college, shout-out to UWO, Hail Titans! He had walked in, pointed at me, and said the words “Father Mullet. That’s what I’m calling you from now on.” I laughed but didn’t really utilize that nickname until recently. I got ordained online and started officiating weddings adorned in custom made denim priest robes and Pit Vipers. Ceremony in the front, reception in the back. I have cut and regrown it a few times but plan on reaching a new level with the current flow as I enlighten and bless any future wedding ceremonies. Where the bridesmaids at?

Amen.
