Tate Reeve – The Curly Tater

Twin Falls, Idaho

When Tate was 4 yrs old, his uncle gave him a haircut and thought it would be funny to give him a short euro hawk style. His uncle told him, "Business up front, party in the back" when he was done with the haircut. Tate liked his new haircut so much and did a dance afterwards singing, "Party in the back, party in the back!" When it was time for another haircut, Tate still liked his "party in the back," so his parents said what the heck, and let him keep it long. As Tate's hair grew, he loved the curls that were forming in his party in the back and didn't want them cut. So his parents let him keep his curly hair in the back and his mom surprised herself by letting his hair morph into a mullet. With every haircut his mom gave him, Tate made sure to tell her to keep his curls. And the longer his hair and curls get, the more compliments he gets on it-- except for his grandma who is constantly asking him when he is going to cut it all short. Tate has people around town who recognize him just by his hair. He loves his hair and almost 4 years later growing out his party in the back, he doesn't have plans to cut it anytime soon!
