When I learned about mullets I knew I wanted one right away! I used to have long hair when I was younger but it would get in my face which was annoying so I would cut it off eventually. When I learned about mullets I asked my mom if I could grow one out. She was hesitant at first but I kept asking and she eventually said yes. So I have been growing out The Shredder for almost two years now. I call it The Shredder just because it sounds cool. I started perming the tail of it this year because I really wanted it to be curly. I have a great hair stylist named Susan and she always fixes me up good. The first perm didn’t take so we had to do it again and I had to learn how to take care of curls and use different combs and stuff. I have an older cousin who also has a mullet. He has the same color hair as me and everything and when we get together we look like twins except he’s way bigger. I like looking like a mini version of my cousin because he’s cool. Last year I entered the contest but my mullet wasn’t very long yet. I have been waiting to enter again for a whole year! My friends are all rooting for me and I’m looking forward to getting some votes. I think I’ll keep growing my mullet until my mom says I can’t anymore.
