Now 10 year of age looking back the family just knew from very early on that Russell's hair was meant to be something fierce, but we could of not have ever expected it to become the staple of who he is. Never wanting to cut his hair or let anyone touch his "Russellcat Mullet" the guys at the barber shop already no better than to ask if he even wants a trim in the back rather they tell him he is never to cut it because it makes him stand out. His cascading layers of luscious locks create an aura of rebellious coolness, making him the envy of every room he enters no matter where that is. He stops people in their tracks and makes their day brighter with the sight of his hair. Russell took his first trip to Disneyland this past year and the overall compliments made him gleam, even being asked to be photographed alone by a Cast member just because the "Russellcat Mullet". It has been said by his older brother that former high school football players go all "fanboy" over his hair. People tell stories of his hair as if it were legend. In our small town everyone knows him just by mentioning his mullet. This competition is now another piler to help build the legacy and the legend that is the "Russellcat Mullet". Others try to imitate and create what they consider a hairstyle of freedom, rebellion and style, but only a few like Russell are with that charisma all from their hair.
