Evan is a determined 9-year-old boy who has a deep passion for hockey…which includes some magnificent mullets. Evan became obsessed by the idea of growing his own, believing it would give him the edge he needed on the ice. However, there was one major obstacle standing in his way - his parents.

Evan’s parents, being more traditional in their views, were not fond of the idea of their son sporting a mullet. His Dad preferred a neat and tidy appearance. Despite their objection, Evan couldn't let go of his desire to have his own magnificent mullet. He begged his parents for an entire year, explaining his love for hockey and how having a mullet would make him feel more connected to the game.

With relentless conviction, Evan eventually convinced his parents. But as the mullet began to grow, Evan was disappointed that his mullet did not look as magnificent as he imagined it would. He wanted to PERM it. After much discussion and contemplation, Evan’s parents, impressed by his determination, decided to support him on his unique hair journey. They understood that his desire for self-expression was a reflection of his vibrant personality. With their consent, and a renewed sense of confidence, Evan embarked on his permed mullet adventure. After 2 years of perfecting his mullet, Evan is ready to take on the hockey rink with his distinctive style.
