Eli Ridge was born in the rolling hills of Southern Indiana, where the woods are his playground. He arrived with a head of flaming red hair that slowly grew into a moptop of strawberry blonde with curls galore. As his hair grew, folks weren't always so sure if he was a boy or a girl, so his dad said a haircut was in order. His mom begged to keep the curls, so his dad said the only option was to give'm a good ol' Morgan County mullet — a county here in Indiana known for his rolling landscape and hillbilly ways...and well, the rest is history. He'll turn 4 in July, and like Sampson of old, he's never had a haircut — at least in the back. His long locks get cheers from many, and jeers from few. Yet despite the ongoing offer to trim it up some or cut it off completely, Eli Ridge continues to insist on staying a proud member of the mullet militia. Ain't no hairspray, no styling gel, no mousse required..just an old fashioned 'do for an old fashioned country boy.
