Dating back to December 2021, my precious manic pixie mullet, a combination of a faux hawk and cropped mullet with a v-line fade, was born. Like the creeping vines, she grew through hardship with her owner. From their last moments in university to their time in neurotherapeutic research, her true colors finally began to shine through. Emerald green is one of the many beautiful colors of the world, symbolizing growth and prosperity. My beautiful mess is worn with pride as I tread through my long journey toward becoming a neurosurgeon. As I spend my days analyzing data for the locomotive recovery in severe spinal cord injury models or assisting you are your local HEB I hope to continue to inspire the growth and perseverance that my impulsive mullet represents.
